International Women's Day 2013

SAOL celebrated International Women's Day with three events:

  1. 'It's Time to Talk' - the coming together of women who use addiction services to talk about their experiences of all services. 5th March 2013

We had a fantastic first event, with 68 particpants and 20 staff members from projects all over the city. Feedback from today's event will be presented tomorrow at 'It's different for women' , but for now, a few pictures might give a sense of what happened:

  1. 'It's different for Women' - a day of presentations and discussions on how addiction is different for women. 6th March 2013
  2. International Women's Day Celebration - music, poetry and drama as SAOL celebrates its 18th birthday and the successes of our particpants over the past year. 8th March 2013

Details of these two days can be found on the pages It's Different for Women and Celebration.
