SAOL joins with IHREC, CityWide, and TCD to launch a new Anti-Stigma Awareness Training

Citywide Drugs Crisis Campaign and the SAOL Project, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin (TCD), and with the support of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC) have developed a training programme which aims to support services to become more aware of the impact of stigma, and in particular drug-related stigma, and to take practical steps towards becoming Anti-Stigma Services.

The training has been co-produced with and co-facilitated by people who have lived experience of drug-related stigma. The Pilot Anti-Stigma Training Programme took place in February 2021 and we are launching an evaluation of the pilot which was carried out by Professor Catherine Comiskey and her team in Trinity College.

We look forward to welcoming you to this important event as part of the collaborative campaign to Stop the Stigma.
